Learnin'
This year, I wrote up a list of things that I wanted to accomplish before 2009 ran out, and I started a budget- both have been quite interesting! Seeing what I can accomplish- even the things that as first I thought were rather unlikely to happen. And, seeing where all my monies go...how I could do better when it comes to spending/saving.
What I've been working on, of late-- Trusting and leaning on Christ more and more
- Loving others (Matthew 5:46-47)
- Setting goals, and striving to achieve them
- "Just do it!"- stop letting fear or whatnot get in the way

I went to a book signing...
Genuine, amiable, warm...such words danced around in my brain, as I talked with him.
But, maybe...maybe I'm wrong. He could be a good actor and it was all just a show.
If you meet him, I'd be interested in your opinion of him...but as for me, myself and I-
The first words that hit me, I perceive to be true of him. Even after mulling over them, later on.
Who I met? Mr. Mike Huckabee!

Lil...
Ramblings- Ya ever wondered how Christ would ever make "such and such" happen, or possible? Ever wondered why it turned out the way it is, and then right after it's over, you look back and think "Yeah!."

Lil update- Grandma is worse and yet better- at the same time...but she's hanging in there, and we're taking it one day at a time.
I shall (Lord willing) be leaving this sunny state, on December13th, and heading home.

Cold?? Naw...
LifeI admit- I'm so very used to this lovely warm weather!
Might sound weird...but after 3 months of FL living-
- I heard that KS was expecting snow, and I thought "What? Already?!?"...totally forgetting that it's not uncommon at this time of year- for KS.
- My G'ma went to Wally world to buy some flowers to plant- "Now!?! It's too late in the year- they'll freeze!" Of course...I was thinking KS, not FL.
- I learned that- when KS is having freeze warnings, FL is having fire warnings...
I will happily go back to my dear state...but I shall greatly miss the lovely weather here.
Snow is kinda nice...only kinda...

Ok, no more about weather (for now). Random tidbits:
My G'ma is doing better, little by little- Praise the Lord!
Upon arriving home, I shall pick up my assistance dog- I have plans to spend New Years eve with some friends- then I'm off to a wedding in another state! Should be busy, but good. Cold weather and all.

Random Ramblings...
- Sing!
- Do something kind for someone you don't even know
- Go stargazing, watch a sunset, run through a field barefoot...
- Smile!
- Check up on that friend you've not heard from in awhile
- Go 'n do something you've never done before
- Be random!
- Thank your family (especially your folks) for all the time and money they've put into you.
- Step outside of your comfort zone
- Volunteer!
- Get a pen and a piece of paper- and write a snail mail letter
- Spend a day with a kid, there's so much we forget as we grow old...
- Go exploring!
- Ask someone how they are, and really mean it.
- Take a deep breath, and count your blessings
- Have fun!
- Be your own unique self...don't just go with the flow.
- Enjoy life, time is fleeting...
Ask yourself- What/Who am I living for?
You know that minute, yeah...the one that just flew by. You're not going to get it back- it's gone...and before we know it...our time on this earth will also pass.
It's not a question that most like to discuss- but it it vital- what happens after death?
Think about it...time isn't going to slow down.
